Actor, producer, and now filmmaker Ravi Mohan has stepped into a new chapter of his career with the launch of his very own production house, Ravi Mohan Studios. The grand inauguration turned into a star-studded celebration, with leading names from Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema in attendance.

At the event, Ravi Mohan revealed that the studio’s journey would begin with two films simultaneously. The first, “BROCODE”, directed by Karthik Yogi, will see Ravi himself in the lead role. The second, “Ordinary Man (OM)”, features comedian Yogi Babu as the hero and marks Ravi Mohan’s directorial debut. Stressing that the banner is not just meant for his own films, Ravi said the aim of Ravi Mohan Studios is to support new directors, young talents, independent musicians, and bring out fresh content for theatres as well as OTT platforms, including documentaries and web series.

The evening saw several industry leaders extend their warm wishes. Sivakarthikeyan lauded Ravi’s vision, calling it a responsibility more than a business. Dr. Shivarajkumar praised Ravi’s phenomenal journey from Jayam to Ponniyin Selvan, while Karthi spoke of their long bond and called him a true visionary. SJ Suryah shared his excitement about BROCODE, saying family entertainers filled with humor and emotion are rare today. Yogi Babu grew emotional, recalling Ravi’s six-year-old promise to cast him as a hero in his directorial debut—now fulfilled with Ordinary Man. Bollywood couple Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia sent their blessings, while singer Kenisha, Ravi’s partner in the studio, spoke about his resilience and their shared dream to make the studio a powerhouse. Ravi’s brother Raja Mohan too expressed pride, recalling Ravi’s extraordinary talent since childhood.

The glittering guest list included Sivakarthikeyan, Dr. Shivarajkumar, Karthi, SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Shraddha Srinath, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia, Malavika Manoj, Arjun Ashokan, Kanna Ravi, Sri Gauri Priya, lyricist Pa. Vijay, and director Shakthivel Periyasamy, among many others.

Speaking emotionally, Ravi Mohan said, “Cinema is not just entertainment—it is an emotion. My fans are my greatest strength, and I want to give back through films that matter. Ravi Mohan Studios will be a platform for all dreamers, and together we will create meaningful cinema with 200% effort.” He also surprised the audience by announcing his debut as a lyricist with a mother-themed song, composed and sung by Kenisha.

The launch of Ravi Mohan Studios was more than just an industry event—it was a celebration of dreams, friendships, and possibilities in cinema. With two promising films lined up and a vision to nurture fresh talent, Ravi Mohan’s studio is poised to roar just like the lion in its logo.
