The 2018 blockbuster hit movie ‘Ratsasan’ directed by Ramkumar has gained cult classic status and is hailed as one of the best thriller films ever in Tamil cinema. Immediately after its success Ramkumar signed on to direct Dhanush in a big movie produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The coronovirus pandemic and creative differences stalled the project.
A few months back it was announced that Ramkumar who has not done any film for the past five years is reuniting with Vishnu Vishal for the third consecutive time. Now Sathya Jyothi Films has reconfirmed the same on Twitter writing “Get ready to experience his 3rd Film after ‘Mundasupatti’ & ‘Ratsasan’ The ‘VV21’ with Blockbuster reunion of Vishnu Vishal and Ramkumar is underway”.
This was in response to a user praising the ‘Ratsasan’ as a benchmark and comparing it to the recent super hit ‘Por Thozhil’ in the same genre. It is reported that the Ramkumar-Vishnu Vishal project will be a love story mixed thriller elements.
