Not Lokesh Knagaraj but Rathna Kumar to collaborate with this director next?

Popular director Rathna Kumar is known for his collaborations with Lokesh Kanagaraj apart from his own films. He worked with Loki in blockbusters like ‘Master’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’. However, reports said that Rathna would not be a part of Lokesh’s next, ‘Thalaivar 171’, with Superstar Rajinikanth.

As Rathna Kumar is roped in to direct a movie under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s production, he chose to work on that project rather than working on ‘Thalaivar 171’. Now, sources tell us that Rathna Kumar’s film under the G Squad banner is going to be an action and it is getting delayed to materialise. He is set to work on a different film in the meantime.

Reportedly, Rathna Kumar is going to team up with director PS Mithran to work on the script of Karthi’s ‘Sardar 2’. We already brought to you that ‘Sardar 2’ will take off with a pooja ceremony on February 2nd. This news is spreading like wildfire on the internet. Karthi will be seen as a father-and-son spy duo in this upcoming espionage flick.
