Rashmika Mandanna to debut in Bollywood with ‘Mission Majnu’

Rashmika Mandanna is going places. After spreading her wings from Sandalwood to Tollywood and Kollywood, the ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ actress is now debuting in the Hindi film industry. ‘Mission Majnu’ is the title of her Bollywood debut. Starring Siddharth Malhotra as a RAW agent, the thriller is inspired by real events that took place inside Pakistan as planned by India’s RAW. 

“Well guys, here’s news for you! I’m super glad and excited to be a part of this! Here’s to a new journey! Inspired by real events, the story of India’s most daring RAW mission inside Pakistan!” the ‘Geetha Govindam’ actress wrote on Twitter.

Helmed by Shantanu Bagchi, this one is written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora, and Sumit Batheja. It will go on the floors in February next year.

Rashmika is also slated to shoot for Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’, which will also release in Hindi. The film is directed by Sukumar. Karthi’s ‘Sulthan’ was recently wrapped up. It too will release next year.
