Rashmi trolled: ‘An award for a whore’s role?’

Rashmi Gautam has been trolled because someone gave her an award for her performance in ‘Next Nuvve’.  On Twitter, her critics have laughed at her derisively.  And true to her style, the ‘Jabardasth’ show host has hit back.

When a Twitter user today commented that Rashmi might have won the National Award for her role in ‘Guntur Talkies’ now that she won an award for a “whore’s role” in ‘Next Nuvve’, the actress said, “Well, neither roles were not whore roles and sadly the opportunity to play a sex worker has not come my way yet.

Just so you know playing a SEX WORKER is challenging and many established actress have gained respect by playing those roles.  My screen space was for about 15   Mins in #gunturtalkies and the film released in 2016 and it’s 2018 now and you are still talking about it we must have done something, right.”

Rashmi is the last one who takes trolling lying down.  It has been proven more than once just in recent months.
