A viral tweet from an overseas film critic recently claimed that all is not well between Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Separation rumours surrounding the couple, who have been married for four years, have been floating around ever since.

However, Ranveer Singh spoke about his thriving relationship with Deepika at the FICCI event yesterday and the actor also mentioned that 2022 would mark their 10th anniversary as the couple started dating way back in 2012 during the shoot of their maiden collaboration in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. “Touchwood...We met and started dating in 2012... so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika,” Ranveer said. The video seemingly clarified the rumours and confirmed that all is, in fact, well between the duo.

On being asked about working with Deepika again at the event, Ranveer Singh stated, “I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and I admire her a lot. I have learnt a lot from her in my personal life too. There is a sweet surprise for everyone. You guys will see us together very soon. She is one of the best things that has happened to me and am so grateful for her in my life.” Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in a private ceremony at Italy’s Lake Como in November 2018.
