Ranbir Kapoor is rugged, raw and real! – Animal first look poster breaks the internet

It was in July 2022 when Ranbir shared in an interview that his character in Animal is “shocking” and said the movie is “way out of my comfort zone”. Proving that same the first look poster of Animal has come as a shocking surprise for his fans.

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, on the special occasion of New Year, shared the poster on his Twitter handle that features Ranbir in a rugged look. The first look poster features Ranbir wearing a blood-soaked white shirt, smoking a cigarette, and staring at someone, while carrying a bloody axe in between his arm. The actor’s rugged look in the poster hints that the upcoming film will feature Ranbir in a never-seen-before avatar.

After unveiling the poster the makers also said “We’re extremely glad to present the first look poster of this magnum opus crime drama starring Ranbir Kapoor. After the much-built anticipation for the film post its announcement, we’re happy to unveil the first glimpse to the audiences. Ranbir’s look in the poster very well justifies the gist of the film and we’re confident that the audience will witness a film that they deserve.”

Rashmika Mandanna stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal.  Animal will be released in theatres on August 11, 2023. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
