Rana Daggubati’s much-delayed ‘Aranya’ has been pushed from January to a future date. The multi-lingual will now hit the screens on March 26.
“Welcoming the new year and the new normal, we are excited to bring #HaathiMereSaathi, #Aranya, and #Kaadan on 26th March, in a theatre near you!” Rana wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
The film would have released for Sankranthi had it been a Telugu-Tamil outing. But since it will have to be released simultaneously in Hindi, too, the makers have decided to postpone it to March. The trade talk is that Bollywood distributors are not ready to release movies as of now. By March, the situation will hopefully have improved a great deal.
Directed by Prabhu Solomon and also starring Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Sharma, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain, it is a forest-based action drama.
