Ramya Pandian made a solid debut in ‘Joker’ directed by Raju Murugan in which she played a lower-middle-class girl who becomes the wife of the protagonist played by Guru Somasundaram.  In her second film ‘Aan Devathai’ the young actress took on a mature role as an over-ambitious middle-class wife and mother of two children doing full justice to it.
