Actress Ramya Krishnan, who was last seen on screen in the Thiagarajan Kumararaja directorial Super Deluxe playing an interesting character Leela, recently wrapped shooting for her web series debut Queen, where she will be seen playing former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha.
Next the actress has been signed to star in a sequel to her 1999 flick. Director Vinayan who had directed movies like Kasi, En Mana Vaanil etc, had made a Malayalam movie named Akasha Ganga in 1999, and the movie was dubbed in Tamil as Avala Aaviya and now the director is making a sequel to this flick.
Titled Akasha Ganga 2, this movie will be made as a Tamil/ Malayalam bilingual and Ramya Krishnan has been roped in to star in a pivotal role in this movie. It has been said that this movie will have extensive graphics shots, and is planned as a Onam release.
