Ramraj Cotton is a reputed clothing brand in South India. They have a wide range of customers who have immense trust in Ramraj’s quality and pricing. The founder of Ramraj started this venture as he felt people who wear Dhotis deserved more respect and he encouraged the Dhoti culture with his brand.
While Ramraj merchandise has Dhoti showrooms operating in many locations, the latest is that the brand has launched its new store ‘Lagnaa’, an exclusive silk dhoti showroom. Chennai Deputy Mayor Mahesh Kumar inaugurated this new outlet in Nungambakkam Khader Nawaz Khan Road on September 12. ‘Kalyana Maalai’ fame Mohan made the first sale.
‘Lagnaa’ is a brand new all-exclusive silk dhoti showroom and the ultimate destination for the finest ethnic silk dhotis and shirts. It is the first-of-its-kind store for South Indian traditional wedding collections for men. This store was inaugurated on September 12, the 40th anniversary of the Ramraj brand.
At this event, Ramraj company chairman Nagarajan and Managing Director Aruneshwaran said, “There are various types of silk sarees available for brides and women for wedding events. But grooms and men have less variety in Dhoti. Different types of Dhoti & Shirt are not available even for our family wedding. This branch will be our one and only separate showroom for Dhoti – Shirts among the 225 outlets of Ramraj.”
