'RED', starring Ram Pothineni in the lead, will be hitting the screens this January 14. Ahead of its release, the makers have revealed that the action thriller, directed by Kishore Tirumala, will be released in 7 non-Telugu languages.
Presenter Krishna Pothineni said that the film has got Ram in a dual role. "The teaser, trailer and songs have got a huge reception from the audience," he added.
Producer 'Sravanti' Ravi Kishore said, "We have dubbed the film in several languages. Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Tamil and Hindi are the languages in which the film's dubbed version will be out. The Kannada version will be out on the 14th. The rest of the versions will be released towards the end of January."
The Tamil version will be released directly on OTT. "We have taken the decision in keeping with the image of Ram in other languages. We are confident that 'RED' will be a hit across languages," the producer added.
Great India Films will release the Telugu version in parts of the US. The film will also release in Australia, Singapore and Dubai. "Our aim is to give the audience a theatrical experience and not revenue maximization. There is a demand to increase the number of theatres," the makers said.
Nivetha Pethuraj plays a cop in the film.
