Ram Pothineni, Lingusamy film: Road ahead not so easy for Priyanka Arul Mohan!

Actor Ram Pothineni is making his Tamil debut with director Lingusamy’s upcoming bilingual film. Labelled as RAPO 19, the film has two female leads and the makers have already roped in Uppena girl Kriti Shetty as the first lead.

Grapevine is that Priyanka Arul Mohan, who is awaiting the release of Sreekaram on March 11, is being considered for the second lead’s role. The makers, however, are in no hurry to seal the deal as they are waiting to see the fate of the Sharwanand-starrer.

Buzz is that they are planning to sign Priyanka only after Sreekaram strikes a purple patch at the box office. Failing which she will be out of contention. Speculations were rife that Priyanka was approached for Anil Ravipudi’s film with Mahesh Babu, but it appears to be false.

Priyanka made her Telugu debut opposite Nani in Gang Leader. While the film ended up as a flop, Priyanka managed to sign a film opposite Sharwanand. It remains to be seen what’s in store for her after Sreekaram.
