It’s known that Ram Gopal Varma is going to have a three-part biopic on himself. The first part, titled ‘Ramu’, was launched on Wednesday. The director made it a point to invite his mother Suryavathi and elder sister for the inaugural event.
“My mom Suryavathi switched on the camera today for the first shot of my biopic part 1 RAMU. Produced by BOMMAKU MURALI and directed by DORASAI TEJA (sic),” RGV tweeted. Teja, who has made some YouTube short films, will be playing RGV in the film besides directing it. “DORASAI TEJA apart from acting as me in my college days is also directing the film..He is just 20 years old,” Varma added.
Vijaya, RGV’s sister, was there to give the first clap. “My sister Vijaya gave clap today for the first shot of my biopic part 1 titled RAMU,” Varma tweeted.
The second and third part will follow the first part. RGV will be playing himself in them.
