Director Ram Gopal Varma, who is nowadays more in the news for his twitter controversies is a pioneering genius when it comes to embracing new ideas and the latest technologies. The maverick film maker made the psychological thriller ‘Ice Cream’ using the Flowcam Technology at an unbelievable budget of Rs.2,11,832 and the Navdeep-Tejaswi starrer went on to become a super hit in 2014 collecting Rs. 5 Crores at the box office.
‘Ice Cream’ has been acquired by T. Mathuraj of ATM Films who has also written the Tamil dialogues for the dubbed version titled ‘Chocobar’ and the film is being released by Hawke Eye Studios. Anji the cameraman of the film is now doing the Jiiva-Hansika-Sibbiraj starrer ‘Pokkiri Raja’. Judging by the Tamil audiences hunger for new themes this radically different thriller from RGV will surely be well received here.
