Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Creates Sensation in North America; Crosses $200K in Record Time

Peddi, starring Ram Charan, is off to a sensational start in North America. The much-awaited pan-India film has crossed the $200K mark in premiere pre-sales within just days of advance bookings opening, emerging as one of the fastest Indian films to achieve the milestone in the region.

The film has already sold more than 7,500 premiere tickets, signaling extraordinary anticipation among overseas audiences. Trade analysts are particularly surprised by the pace of bookings, with momentum continuing to grow rapidly across major North American locations.

What makes the achievement even more significant is that Ram Charan’s previous release had underperformed heavily in the overseas market, especially in North America. Despite that setback, Peddi has managed to generate massive advance sales, reflecting the strong curiosity and excitement surrounding the project.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a rural sports action drama that presents Ram Charan in a rugged and intense new avatar. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, while Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman is composing the music.

The promotional content released so far including posters, glimpses, and songs has consistently created strong buzz online and significantly boosted the film’s hype among fans.

Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers , the film is scheduled for grand North America premieres on June 3, followed by its worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026.

With advance bookings already showing explosive trends, trade circles are now predicting a massive overseas opening weekend for Peddi.
