Ram Charan makes a shocking reveal about ‘Naatu Naatu’

Ram Charan and Jr NTR nailed it by delivering a world-class dancing performance in ‘Naatu Naatu’, which recently won the Golden Globe Award in the Best Original Song category.

In his latest interview, the ‘Rangasthalam’ actor revealed that he had suffered a second-degree ligament tear before the shoot of the iconic song. 

Incidentally, it was just before the shoot of ‘Komaram Bheemudo’ that the ligament teaser occurred. This song didn’t involve dance moves from the Mega Power Star, but ‘Naatu Naatu’ must have challenged him as hell. In an interview last year, Charan said that SS Rajamouli unleashed his perfectionist streak and made him and Tarak do everything that was conceivable to get every single dance move right. Choreographer Prem Rakshit, too, was uncompromising. 

The dedication put forth by Charan paid off, as ‘Naatu Naatu’ attained global glory nearly a year after RRR’s theatrical release. The song had lyrics by Chandrabose. Composed by MM Keeravani, it was shot with the intention of delivering emotions.
