Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi’s remarkable achievement of being recognized by Guinness World Records as the “Most Prolific Film Star in Indian Cinema” was met with widespread celebration, particularly from his son, Ram Charan.

Ram Charan, himself a prominent actor, took to Instagram to express his heartfelt appreciation for his father’s dedication and achievements. Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, also shared her joy, acknowledging her “Mamaya”  for his unparalleled dedication to cinema.

The industry echoed the sentiment, with prominent figures like SS Rajamouli, Prabhudeva, Rishab Shetty, and Chiranjeevi’s brother, Naga Babu, expressing their congratulations.

Naga Babu, fondly recalling his own experiences with the Guinness Book of World Records during his college days, highlighted the rarity of recognizing film-related achievements. He expressed immense pride in his brother’s feat, acknowledging the incredible numbers behind it – 156 films, 537 songs, and 24,000 dance moves.

Chiranjeevi, who has captivated audiences for decades with his charismatic screen presence and mesmerizing dance moves, received the award at a special ceremony in Hyderabad on September 22, coinciding with the anniversary of his big-screen debut in 1978.

He expressed his gratitude, stating, “This moment is unforgettable. I never expected to get the Guinness World Records, but it feels incredible to be honoured for my dancing. All these years of my film career, dance has become part of my life.”

The veteran actor attributed his success to the collaborative efforts of directors, producers, music directors, and choreographers who consistently highlighted his dancing talent.

Chiranjeevi’s Guinness World Record is a testament to his unwavering dedication to his craft and his enduring legacy in the Indian film industry. His next project, “Vishwambhara,” is slated for release in January 2025, further solidifying his position as a cinematic icon.
