Two days after being discharged from hospital after getting admitted for severe blood pressure fluctuations, Superstar Rajinikanth has announced that he's not going to join politics. The actor has said that his health issue was a warning given to him by God.

Rajinikanth has opened up in his press release that his inability to go out in the public and campaign in the pandemic is the main reason behind the decision. Rajnikanth has said that it is impossible in politics to win by totally depending on news media and social media for campaigning after starting the political party.

Rajnikanth has further said he'll have to go to people and meet lakhs of people. Within a 120 member crew of Annatthe itself there was a coronavirus infection and I was observed by doctors for three days. Now with the new coronavirus form which is spreading the actor has said he had to take the tough decision. The actor thanked his fans for the support extended and requested them to understand and accept the decision.
