After the blockbuster success of Petta, Superstar Rajnikanth is acting currently in his 167th movie Darbar, which is directed by A R Murugadoss, for whom this is the first movie with the actor. Darbar is produced by Lyca Productions.
Darbar is being shot in Mumbai and the first schedule had been completed in April end, following which the second schedule began on May 29. Recently there were rumours that the complete shooting of Darbar will be finished in another 30 days.
However, the director himself has made the clarification on the same. The second schedule is expected to end on June 30, and Murugadoss himself has revealed that Darbar shoot is scheduled till August. Darbar has Lady Superstar Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu and Sunil Shetty and is planned to release on Pongal 2020.
