On Ugadi, Ravi Teja's film with a debutant named Sarath Mandava was announced. Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas LLP is bankrolling the film, which might hit the screens towards the end of this year or in early 2022.

The news is that Rajisha Vijayan, the Malayalam-Tamil actress, is likely to be roped in play a female lead in the thriller. The 29-year-old actress was most recently seen in the critically-acclaimed Tamil movie 'Karnan', which starred Dhanush in the lead. Known for her sensible choices, Rajisha won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her performance 'Anuraga Karikkin Vellam', the Malayalam film which marked her debut in 2016.

If Rajisha essays a role in the movie, it will be her Telugu-language debut. Ravi Teja will have introduced a new face to Tollywood.

Divyansha Koushik, who played Naga Chaitanya's love interest in the flashback portions of 'Majili', has been roped in to play the female lead officially.

Sam CS, who has previously worked on Vijay Deverakonda's 'NOTA' and Karthi's acclaimed film 'Khaidi', is the film's music director. The cinematographer, Sathyan Sooryan, also hails from Kollywood.

The untitled thriller, which will feature the 'Krack' and 'Khiladi' star in an interesting role, will go on the floors after the second wave subsides. As for 'Khiladi', the film will release only in theatres. The makers of the action thriller recently confirmed that it will not release on OTT.
