The last few days in Kerala has gotten people wondering if it’s really God’s Own Country. The once traditionally colourful vibrant state is now facing the worst of the times with torrential rainfall bringing havoc to its peace. As of now alone about 167 persons have lost their lives owing to the floods.
The state has been receiving help from many politicians, non governmental organisations and also stars from the film fraternity. The latest being media giant Sun TV has donated Rs.1 crore towards the Kerala Chief Minister Disaster Relief Fund. This has come off as a timely gesture when the state is trying its best to bring its people to safety.
