‘Kaala’ makes an amazing achievement in America!

Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ hit the screens last Thursday and needless to say, is being received overwhelmingly by fans and critics as well. As earlier reported, the film had made record first day collections in Tamil Nadu. Well, seems like Kaala is the rage overseas as well.

The film has reaped in more than $1 million within three days of the release. It is also worth mentioning here that ‘Kaala’ is the fourth Rajini film to achieve this feat after ‘Linga’, ‘Endhiran’ and ‘Kabali’. Furthermore the film is expected to fare well at the box office as today and tomorrow are general holidays.

It is worth noting here that the film grossed Rs.1.74 crore in Chennai alone on its first day of release. Apart from Rajinikanth in the lead, the film also has Easwari Rao, Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani and Huma Quereshi in major roles. The film which is directed by Pa Ranjith is being bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.
