A Sneak peak into first- day shoot of Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’

On Wednesday, the shooting of '2.0' (Enthiran Sequel) was started with the master craftsman director Shankar wielding the megaphone for Superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson, who play the lead roles in the grand flick bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

According to reliable sources, the first-day shoot happened in a huge set erected at the outskirts of Chennai. The set resembled a huge science lab of Dr.Vaseegaran the creator of robots. This set had advanced equipment and the scenes where shot with Rajinikanth playing Vaseegaran, robots and dwarves resembling minions. These creatures reportedly play Vaseegaran's lab assistants and are expected to provide comical relief in the film.

The shooting that began in the morning went on till 7 pm. Akshay Kumar, who would play the lead villain in the film, came to the set in the evening and had a one hour chat with Shankar and the Superstar. He did not shoot for any scene in the first day. A.R.Rahman had come to the set an hour earlier.

Sources reveal that '2.0' shoot will go on for a month in Chennai.
