Rajasekhar to team up with Pavan

Dr. Rajasekhar was most recently seen in ‘Shekar’, the suspense thriller which boasted noteworthy production values. The critically-acclaimed film proved that the ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ actor has an undying passion for acting. The ‘Kalki’ star, meanwhile, has greenlit a new project. 

It is learned that ‘Prema Ishq Kadha’ fame Pavan Sadineni recently pitched a story to the senior actor. Rajasekhar, who has been choosy, loved the story. Pavan is said to be developing the same into a full-length script. It will be interesting to see what kind of role the versatile actor is going to do in the yet-to-be-announced project. 

Pavan is in perfect form, as the AHA release ‘Senapathi’ proved last year. Starring Rajendra Prasad, Naresh Agastya and others, the web release was critically acclaimed. 

As for ‘Shekar’, the film was released in May. When it faced some hurdlers post its release, Rajasekhar reiterated his faith in cinema and his project. “Cinema is our life. This film, especially, was our hope. I can only hope that this film will eventually get the visibility and appreciation that it truly deserves,” he wrote.
