‘Kaala’ alleged plagiarism case – Complainant submits proof in court

Superstar Rajini and Nana Patekar  starrer ‘Kaala’ is progressing at a brisk pace directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. One Rajasekhar had filed a case that the story has been stolen from him and he had also registered the title ‘Karikaalan’ for it.

The representatives of Rajini, Ranjith and Dhanush have prayed the court to dismiss the case as they claimed that their title is ‘Kaala’ and not ‘Karikaalan’ and that they are investing a massive 160 Crores for the project and its their own story and not plagiarized from anyone. They also alleged that Rajasekar is only trying to grab headlines making false allegations. The court then directed the complainant for proof and Rajasekhar yesterday submitted photographs taken when he narrated his story to Rajini and other documents. The court was then adjourned for the next hearing on the 8th of August.
