Director Raghava Lawrence was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with the remake of his 2011 summer blockbuster horror comedy Kanchana, titled as Laxmmi bomb and starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
However two weeks back, the director has announced that he’s quitting the project as he was not given the respect he deserves and even the first look was released without his consent and hence, as he values self respect more than anything announced to quit.
Few days back he had informed of the production house coming to Chennai to discuss with him and that he’ll make final decision based on how they treat him. Today the director made it official that he’s set to direct laxmmi bomb, indicating that the talks went positively and thanked Akshay Kumar and producer Shabinaa Khan for the support.
