Jyothika the next ‘Kanchana’?

Actor-director Rahgava Lawrence recently launched two films ‘Naaga’ and ‘Motta Siva Ketta Siva’. The former is touted to be the third installment of his super hit ‘Kanchana’ franchise.

Though Lawrence did not confirm anything about the cast and crew of ‘Naaga’ there were rumors suggesting that Rai Lakshmi the heroine of ‘Kanchana’ that released in 2011 will be roped in for this film too.

Now we hear some information yet unconfirmed, that Lawrence has approached Jyothika and narrated the script for her to take up an important role in ‘Naaga’. .

Jyothika made a comeback in Tamil films with ’36 Vayadhinile’, which is one of the successful ventures of this year. Lawrence’s ‘Kanchana 2’ that released a few months back has been declared as a blockbuster and has completed a 100 day run at the box office. It will be interesting if these two powerhouse performers come together for a project but we will have to wait for official confirmation from either sides.
