Raayan: Peechu Mithaay highlights Sundeep Kishan’s romance

Dhanush’s highly anticipated film “Raayan” continues to create waves with the release of its second number titled “Peechu Mithaay.” This massy love song features the talented Sundeep Kishan and Aparna Balamurali, bringing their chemistry to life on the screen. The musical genius AR Rahman composed the number, with the lyrics beautifully penned by Rama Jogaiah Sastry. The soulful vocals of Vijay Prakash and Haripriya add an enchanting touch to the song.

Dhanush, sharing the song on X (formerly Twitter), affectionately referred to it as a ‘love gaanaa.’ Sundeep, too, expressed his excitement, calling it an ‘A.R Rahman Mass Love Song’ and acknowledging Dhanush’s directorial brilliance. The song, which is in both Tamil and Hindi, captures the essence of a heartfelt love story, as showcased in the lyrical video released by Dhanush.

Prior to this, the first song from the film, “Adangaatha Asuran,” was released earlier this month, where Dhanush showcased his talents as a lyricist and singer. The collaboration between Dhanush and AR Rahman in this celebratory track promises a unique blend of pulsating beats and mesmerizing melodies.

The first look poster of “Raayan,” unveiled by Dhanush on February 19, showcased a captivating image of Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Aparna Balamurali standing in front of a food truck, donning bloodied aprons and holding sharp tools. The film marks Dhanush’s second directorial venture after the successful “Pa Paandi” in 2017. Scheduled for release on June 13, “Raayan” promises an enthralling cinematic experience in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, catering to a diverse audience.

Sundeep, who was last seen in “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” in Telugu, has more exciting projects in the pipeline. As for Dhanush, he is set to star alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna, and Jim Sarbh in Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film “Kubera.”

With each release, “Raayan” continues to build anticipation and captivate audiences, making it one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year.
