‘Qubool Hai?’: This AHA original traces journey of a girl victim

“For change to come, some stories need to be told,” the OTT platform AHA said, unveiling the teaser for ‘Qubool Hai?’, an upcoming original that is set to premiere from March 11 onwards.

A story that traces the journey of a female victim of the flesh trade, the drama is created and produced by Pingle Pranav Reddy and presented by Mirage Media. Written by Umair Hasan and Faiz Rai, the show is directed by Umair Hasan, Faiz Rai, and Pranav Reddy.

The gloomy drama involves an investigation, a parade of shady characters who revel in cruelty, a series of slice-of-life shots, and more. “One in every 5 girls are married before they turn 18. Worldwide 650 million girls and women were married in childhood. 100 million girls will still become child brides over the next decade. We need to act now. If not now, when?: the makers recently said, announcing the arrival of the project.

With the screenplay by Kartik Parmar, this one has the story by Sanjiv C, Pranav Reddy, and Kevin Ronith. Rohan Singh has done the production design. Art Direction is by Urmez Bhote. With music by Jerry Silvester Vincent, it is edited by Arvind Menon and Tanya Chhabria.
