'Dunki' Vs 'Salaar' marks one of the biggest box office clashes of this year. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' hit the screens today worldwide and Prabhas' 'Salaar' is slated for release tomorrow. We informed you yesterday about the dispute over these film's multiplex release. It has been sorted out now.

Owing to an unfair screen allocation for 'Salaar' in single-screen venues of PVR Inox and Miraj theatres chain, the team backed off from screening 'Salaar' in those theatre chains across South India. After a backlash from the fans, the theatre chains allotted an equal number of shows for Salaar starting from Friday. And, the bookings are going in full swing.

PVR INOX released a statement to acknowledge that 'Salaar' is going to have a smooth release in their chain. Their viral press release says: "We have come across some speculative media reports about the film SALAAR and its release at PVR INOX Cinemas. We would like to clarify that these reports are incorrect, SALAAR is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it's releasing across pan India PVR INOX cinemas on the scheduled release date i.e. 22 December 2023."
