Popular theatre employee’s dead body found on mall’s terrace

Police found the body of a 48-year-old man employed with PVR Cinemas on the terrace of the DLF mall of India in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida Sector 18 on Friday.

“The victim has been identified as Bhuvanchandra Sharma, an employee of PVR Cinemas at the mall. We have called in a forensic team, and the case is being thoroughly investigated,” an investigating official stated, according to a report from a news agency. The official added that there was an injury at the back of the deceased man’s head.

A resident of Sonia Vihar in Delhi, Bhuvanchandra Sharma joined the film entertainment chain as a technician six months ago. Police have begun the investigation and are yet to determine whether it is a case of accidental death or murder.
