National Award winning actress to pair with Vijay Sethupathi in ‘Pushpa 2’?

The Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa’ directed by Sukumar went on to become one of the biggest hits of last year in pan Indian cinema.  There is huge expecation for the sequel for the mega hit which will go on floors soon.

We broke the news first to you that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has signed on to play a powerful negative character in ‘Pushpa 2’.  Now the buzz from Tollywood is that National Award winning actress Priya Mani is in talks to play his pair in the mega project.  The 38 year old actress who bagged the coveted Best Actress Award for Ameer’s ‘Paruthi Veeran’ is currently starring in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ directed by Atlee.  Her involvement and other official confirmations are expected from Mythri Movie Makers soon.

‘Pushpa 2’ has music by Devi Sri Prasad and has Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles from the original.  The film is expected to release worldwide in 10 languages in the second half of 2023.
