Puri Jagannadh’s love for Europe continues

Known for his fascination towards Europe, having set a host of his films there, Puri Jagannadh, who is back in the spotlight after the super show of iSmart Shankar, will be shooting a major part of his next, Fighter, with Vijay Deverakonda in Europe.

After penning a part of the film’s script in Bangkok last month, the director had undertaken a recce of Europe along with his team to choose the best possible country for his martial arts-based action-entertainer. It is learnt that he wants to try out locations which he hasn’t explored earlier. Also, since the fact that for a first time a Vijay Deverakonda film will be set completely outside India, Puri is taking extra care to ensure that brand new locales are tapped.

Fighter, which will be a joint production venture between Puri and Charmme Kaur, will roll early next year.
