Maverick director Puri Jagannadh was wretched for missing out an opportunity to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi in his 150th movie. However, the director promised the actor's fans that he would definitely direct the Megastar in one of his upcoming films. "I will direct Chiranjeevi garu in his 151, 152 or any other project for sure. If not Auto Jaani, I have a lot of stories on my mind for Megastar. Chiranjeevi garu too responded positively and expressed his interest to work with me in a new movie in the future," reveals Puri on the sidelines of his promotional campaign for his upcoming film Loafer.
It may be recalled that Puri narrated the script of Auto Jaani to Chiru but couldn't impress the Andharivadu actor with the second half. As a result, Puri is out of contention and finally Chiranjeevi gave the mantle of direction to VV Vinayak for the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaththi. The script of the film is locked and producer Ram Charan is planning to launch the film in January.
