The CBFC has issued a 'U/A' certificate for the film and the runtime is revealed to be 2 hours and 36 minutes (156 minutes). This news is going viral now.

According to sources, 'Rathnam' is set to be released on 500 screens in Tamil Nadu and on 1000 screens in the rest of the world. The movie will have a grand solo release this week.
