In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old man from Maharashtra's Pune died after he suffered an intracerebral hemorrhage while playing the online battle royale PUBG on his mobile phone.
The deceased man, identified as Harshal Memane, was rushed to a hospital on Thursday as soon as he suffered as a brain stroke. Unfortunately, he died on Sunday while undergoing treatment. "It seems the stroke occurred because the victim was over-excited while playing the online game PUBG. The post mortem report has stated intracerebral bleeding with brain tissue necrosis as the cause of death," a police official reportedly said.
PUBG is one of the most successful and highly addictive games that is popular among young adults across the globe right now. However, on the downside, the adverse effects of the game have massively impacted the youth. The online battle royale gained traction soon after its PC and Xbox One launch and became a sensation when the game was released on iOS and Android devices.
