‘Puli-Meka’ Teaser: A monster on the loose!

‘Puli-Meka’ is a crime thriller to be streamed on ZEE5 from February 24. Its teaser was released a while ago digitally by Ram Charan. 

It all begins on a typical note. A sniffer dog, night-time murders, residents in the grip of fear due to a monster on the loose, and a tense cop (Suman) issuing an ultimatum to his subordinates: Crack the case in 72 hours come what may. 

In comes Kiran Prabha, played by Lavanya Tripathi. She heads a Special Investigation Team that chases clues as if there is no tomorrow. The IPS officer is joined by Prabhakar Sarma (Aadi Saikumar), a forensic analyst who at first comes across as ill-fit for the job but then pulls up his socks when push comes to shove. 

Writer and creator Kona Venkat seems to be telling an edgy thriller that plays to its strengths. Director K Chakravarthy Reddy must leave his unique mark. 

The trailer, to be released soon, is expected to tell us more about the rest of the characters. Also featuring Goparaju Ramana, Raja Chembolu, Siri Hanmanth, Srinivas and Spandhana Palli, this one is produced by ZEE5 and Kona Film Corporation.
