A gigantic rave party was today busted by the task force police at the Radisson Blu pub in Banjara Hills. The raid happened at 3 am. As many as 150 revelers were detained by the police.
Singer and Bigg Boss title winner Rahul Sipliganj was detained by the police, reportedly, on the grounds that they were participating in a party where drugs were in circulation.
It seems the party-revelers who were present come from different walks of high-society life in Hyderabad. The biggest bust was not expected, considering that well-connected and influential people frequent such parties in star hotels. After booking them and questioning some of them at the Banjara Hills police station, they were let go. Some of them might face questioning in the future if investigators deem fit.
Meanwhile, heads are rolling. As reported by The Print, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner today suspended the Banjara Hills SHO on account of his failure to control narcotics. A memo has also been issued to the ACP of Banjara Hills.
