Protect Nature, protect yourself: Mahesh Babu

Marking the World Environment Day today, Mahesh Babu took to Instagram to say that it is the collective and individual responsibility of every human “to preserve and tend to the environment in which we all live”.  He quoted the Dalai Lama‬ and said, “‪Nature and us, we are interlinked.”

The ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ actor noted, “By protecting nature, we are protecting ourselves.‬ These challenging times have exposed the vulnerability of human life, for us to survive well, it’s important to create a healthy and balanced ecosystem.‬”  

The superstar added, “‪While we all stay home safe, let our voices be heard. Let our actions and words be the change. The future of humanity depends on us! ‬Save water, save trees, save electricity, reduce carbon emissions, save forests, save our oceans, save animals! Choose what’s important to you! Start today! Let’s do this together!”  

His next movie, ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, was launched on May 31.  It will be directed by Parasuram and will have music by SS Thaman.
