S Gurumurthy, a ‘Swadeshi’ economist known for his pro-RSS and BJP sympathies, has on Monday called on Superstar Rajinikanth.This has become debatable at a time when the ‘Kaala’ actor is widely seen as a saffron man.

For the starters, Gurumurthy, a Chartered Accountant by profession and a columnist known for his anti-Congress and anti-DMK writings, is also believed to be the one behind the idea of Demonetization.  He had proposed the idea to Narendra Modi, it’s said.

Rajini, meanwhile, is set to travel to the US for two weeks for a complete medical check-up.  Once he returns in April, he will work on his yet-to-be-launched political party.  ’Kaala’ will release on June 7.
