“I will put you in jail and live stream it”-Gnanavel Raja’s angry speech

Producer K.E.Gnanavel Raja attended the audio release function of Vijay Antony's 'Yaman' held in Chennai. After congratulating Vijay Antony for his continued success as an actor and wishing the team, the young producer turned furious when he started taking about piracy.

" 'On its first day of release, around 2,60,000 people watched 'Bogan' through the pirated copy uploaded in Facebook. 'Si3' is releasing on 9th of Feb. A guy known as TamilRockers announces that he will live stream the film at 11 am on its release day.

The entire team has put two years of hard work. One side we are waiting for financial clearance to see the film released. On the other side this guy so confidently says he will release the film at 11 am. The entire industry is just watching it like spectators. I am also included in it.

Until two days back I was against the idea of contesting in Producers Council Election. But today I challenge the Tamilrockers to release my film.

I am sure you (Tamilrockers) will do that because there are so many loopholes in our industry. Within six months I will find you; wherever you are, I will come to your place and put you in jail. I will also live stream that event.

Elections are fast approaching. We know what to do for that. The entire industry is still not united. If they remain like this our film industry will soon join the TV serial list. To stop that, some good decisions have to be taken in the industry."
