‘Jailer’ is the latest mega hit in Tamil cinema. The action entertainer stars Superstar Rajinikanth and is directed by Nelson. At the box office, Jailer became the highest grossing Tamil film of all time. It is racing towards Rs 600 crores worldwide. Now, Thalaivar and Nelson have got expensive gifts from producer Kalanithi Maran.
Jailer is officially the most profitable movie in Sun Pictures history. The producer presented Superstar Rajinikanth and Nelson with cheques with amounts from the movie’s share. And also, he bought them luxury cars. In the video shared by the production house, Kalanithi Maran shows various cars to Superstar Rajinikanth. The legendary actor chose a brand new BMW X7. He also presented a brand new Porsche car to director Nelson.
Jailer directed by Nelson is an action comedy film that narrates how Tiger Muthuvel Pandian aka Jailer saves his family from bad guys. The film boasts a huge star cast including Vinayakan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Sunil, Mirnaa, Tamannaah and Redin Kingsley with Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar in cameo roles. Anirudh composed the musical score for the film.
