Prashanth Varma: Climax erased all the negatives in HanuMan

Prashanth Varma is currently reveling in the success of “HanuMan,” a cinematic gem featuring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer in lead roles, which is making waves at the global box office. Amidst the film’s triumph, Varma, who recently announced the sequel’s commencement on the auspicious occasion of Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta, took a moment to share insights with the media.

Speaking to reporters, Varma expressed that the sequel’s intense climax played a pivotal role in overshadowing any shortcomings in “HanuMan.” Reflecting on the film’s post-production viewing, he remarked, “Upon watching the final cut, we recognized the highly entertaining nature of the first half, yet acknowledged a slight dip in pace during the second half. We were confident, however, that the climax would leave a lasting impact on the audience.”

Varma continued, revealing the challenges faced during attempts to address the pacing issue in the second half. Despite their best efforts, the team couldn’t entirely rectify the dip in pace. However, Varma emphasized that all these concerns dissipated as the climax unfolded.

Against all odds, the climax managed to evoke goosebumps among the viewers, leaving them in a spiritual daze. “HanuMan” boasts a stellar cast, including Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar and Vinay Rai in crucial roles, presenting itself as Tollywood’s inaugural superhero film. The film’s success not only resonates with entertainment but also marks a significant milestone in the realm of superhero cinema in the Telugu film industry.

Anticipation is building among movie enthusiasts for the upcoming sequel to “Jai Hanuman,” slated for release in 2025. The bar is set high following the sensational climax that left audiences in awe, rendering them speechless and prompting heartfelt chants of “Jai Sri Ram, Jai Hanuman.” The eagerness to witness the continuation of this cinematic journey is palpable, fueled by the lingering impact of the previous installment’s powerful conclusion.
