Prakash Raj opts out of Arun Vijay & Hari’s ‘AV33’! – Know Why

Arun Vijay has teamed up with director Hari for his upcoming project. The actor is currently shooting for the film tentatively called ‘AV33’ tirelessly as the filming is going on in full swing. Indiaglitz had already reported that Arun Vijay plays a villager role and the team has moved to Pazhani for the latest schedule.

Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the romantic interest of Arun Vijay in AV33. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the soundtrack and the background score of AV33 while Gopinath cranks the camera. Earlier, veteran actor Prakash Raj was said to be a part of this rural entertainer. Now, the latest news is that the actor decided to opt-out of the project since he is still recovering from a recent shoulder injury. The makers have roped in Samuthirakani for the part.

A source close to the movie said that Prakash Raj was supposed to begin the shoot and had taken the advance, too. Since he is recovering from his shoulder injury, he spoke to Hari about opting out of the project as the team had to wait for a long while. He returned the advance payment as well. And later, the team brought in Samuthirakani on board for AV33. The actor had joined the team in Palani last week and has been shooting continuously.

Samuthirakani will be playing an important role and is sporting a new look for AV33. The filming is progressing at a brisk pace. The team has been shooting in Chennai, Palani, Karaikudi, Rameswaram, and Thoothukudi in continuous schedules. About a week’s shoot is left in this Pazhani Schedule and the team will move to Rameswaram to film the next leg of the shoot. The star cast also includes Yogi Babu, Radhika Sarathkumar, CWC Pugazh, Ammu Abirami and KGF fame Garuda Ram.
