Dance choreographer, actor and director Prabhu Deva had last acted in Tamil in the AL Vijay directed horror comedy Devi 2, the sequel to his 2016 hit movie Devi, co-starring Tamannaah, Nandita Swetha and after the release of the movie, had moved to Bollywood.
Prabhu Deva has directed Dabangg 3 starring Salman Khan, Sudeep and Sonakshi Sinha and the movie releases on December 20, and has also started his next direction venture Radhe again with Salman Khan and this is another police story which is a sequel to his Pokiri remake Wanted.
Now Prabhu Deva’s next acting venture has announced its release. Pon Manickavel, directed by AC Mugil Chellappan who had earlier directed Kanden has been announced to be a Pongal release by the producers Jabaks Movies. The movie will have Prabhu deva as a police officer and will be paired with Nivetha Pethuraj.
