Prabhas Remains the Same Even Today: Sridevi Vijaykumar

Actress Sridevi Vijaykumar, who is making her comeback as a lead with Sundarakanda, spoke warmly about her long-time association with pan-India star Prabhas. The actress made her debut alongside Prabhas in Eeswar, and the bond they built during that time remains intact even today.

Reflecting on their journey, she said, “Our friendship is still the same. Today, Prabhas has become a huge star, but he hasn’t changed at all. He still laughs and talks with the same childlike innocence. Even back during Eeswar, we all felt he was destined to become a superstar. While we were traveling for the film’s success tour, the massive crowds that turned up made it very clear he was going to be something big.”

The actress further added that Prabhas’s humility is what makes him truly special.

“Despite all the fame, he has remained so grounded. That’s not easy, especially with the kind of stardom he enjoys today. But Prabhas has always been the same warm, approachable person.”

Looking back, Sridevi called it a blessing to have begun her career alongside the actor.

“We started our journeys together, and to see how far he has come is truly inspiring. He has achieved more than anyone imagined, yet he carries it with grace. I feel proud to have shared the screen with him in his very first film.”

She concluded by expressing admiration for his global reach, “Today, he is loved not just in Telugu cinema but across India and internationally. And yet, when you meet him, he still greets you with the same smile. That, to me, is the real Prabhas — a superstar on screen, but the same genuine person off it.”
