Social Media Defamation: Actress Lavanya Tripathi Files Sensational Complaint with Cyber Crime Police!

Lavanya Tripathi, one of the leading actresses in the South Indian film industry, has filed a complaint with the Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police against an individual for spreading defamatory content about her and her family on social media.

For the past few days, an Instagram account with the handle ‘Purple Crayon00’ has been posting highly derogatory and demeaning comments regarding actress Lavanya Tripathi and her family members.

Distressed by these continuous and boundary-crossing posts, the actress decided to take legal action.

Key Details of the Complaint:The Instagram account is operating with the deliberate intention of tarnishing her reputation.The account owner has not only attacked her personally but has also insulted her family members.Lavanya Tripathi has submitted screenshots and evidence of the defamatory posts to the police.

The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police, having received the actress’s complaint, have registered a case under the Information Technology (IT) Act. They are currently conducting an intensive investigation to identify the person operating the ‘Purple Crayon00’ account and the location from which the posts were published.
