Prabhas-Nag Ashwin’s film: Newest buzz is interesting

After ‘Mahanati’ director Nag Ashwin’s outing with Prabhas was announced last month, speculations have been too many.  Earlier this week, we saw how unconfirmed media reports claimed that Katrina Kaif would be the romantic pair of the ‘Saaho’ actor.  It’s difficult to believe that a director as choosy as Nag would cast a mediocre actress like Katrina in a multi-lingual but let that be.

The newest buzz in the town is that a new actress has been chosen as Prabhas’ heroine.  This sci-fi is an intense action movie (as described by Nag himself) and the director must be looking at a performer, not a glam queen. 

Speaking recently in an interview, Nag said that only Prabhas has got the stamina to pull off the weight of his story.  The film’s emotions will be intense and Prabhas’ job is to lift up the proceedings with his nuanced acting.  “He himself didn’t expect that I would narrate an out-and-out commercial script, but the movie is a full-on commercial one,” Nag said.
