We all know that Indian cinema's biggest icons: Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone joined hands for the magnum opus sci-fi spectacle, 'Kalki 2898 AD'. This movie was directed by Nag Ashwin of 'Mahanati' fame and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.

The film's release was announced and postponed multiple times earlier owing to extravagant VFX and CGI works. According to the latest reports, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is all set to hit the screens worldwide on May 9, 2024. This is said to be officially announced on 12th January as a Pongal treat to the fans. The movie's official trailer is likely to be unveiled on March end.

This year marks 50 years since the establishment of the prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies. Their biggest hits have always been released on May 9th in the past. So, it seems that the producers are following the tradition. The film's music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan with cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
